Your mission

In the role of support assistant, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans.

About Nytida Astagården

Astagården is located in a very picturesque environment in Kungsbacka, surrounded by a lovely garden. The accommodation is divided into two units, an LSS accommodation with 6 apartments and a SOL accommodation with 18 apartments. Astagården caters to adult women and men with mental disabilities. This can include phobias/depressions, learning difficulties, mental disabilities, psychosocial issues, schizophrenia, or anxiety disorders. You will be part of a workgroup with about 15 employees, with access to a team leader and nurse. Currently, we have sleeping on-call, day and evening shifts, as well as weekend work.

Your experience and knowledge

You have at least a high school education in care and nursing or another equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement. A B driver's license is desirable.
