Kungälv Hospital is looking for nursing students who want to work as nursing assistants during the summer of 2026. We offer a stimulating, responsible, and exciting job where you will have the chance to develop your skills together with new colleagues. To help you quickly adapt to the work, you will receive a tailored introduction based on your experience and competence.

This summer, patients with stroke, TIA, hip fractures, and other osteoporosis-related fractures will be cared for in Ward 6. You will work in a team with nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and rehabilitation staff. We are happy to share more when we meet for an interview.

About the Job

As a nursing assistant, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your knowledge in preparation for your future career. You will be involved in direct nursing work while also practicing specific nursing tasks with the support of a colleague.

As a nursing assistant, you will meet patients with various medical needs, which means you will work closely with them. This requires you to have the ability to understand the situations patients are in, and you should be interested in the person you meet and their needs.

• Arrival interviews
• Nursing work
• Participating in nursing planning
• Daily IV control
• Venipuncture
• Conversations and supervision/nursing of patients
• Preparation and administration of medication under supervision

Qualifications

You are studying to become a nurse and have completed your 5th semester by June 2026. You have at least three months of experience working as a nursing assistant/caretaker/childcare worker. Previous experience with the Melior journal system is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You need to be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You are flexible and can work in an environment with varied tasks at a fast pace.

Conditions
