Brasserie Astrid is looking for a dedicated and experienced cold kitchen chef to join our kitchen team. We are a modern brasserie in the heart of the city, focusing on seasonal ingredients, high quality, and a creative kitchen where classic brasserie dishes meet international influences. As a cold kitchen chef with us, you will be responsible for cooking in your designated area, maintaining quality and pace, as well as collaborating well with the head chef and service staff to create memorable dining experiences.

• Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and kitchen recipes, focusing on flavor, presentation, and consistency.

• Work at the assigned station and ensure consistent quality during service.

• Prepare ingredients, mise en place, and daily production for efficient service.

• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure quick delivery and correct timing.

• Follow hygiene procedures and ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and well-maintained.

• Participate in inventory, portion control, and receiving deliveries.

• Contribute to menu development, recipe documentation, and tastings together with the kitchen management.

• Handle special diets and allergies in close consultation with the kitchen and service.

• Professional experience as a chef in restaurant or large kitchen settings, preferably 2+ years.

• Good technique and understanding of ingredient handling, cooking, and portioning.

• Knowledge of hygiene regulations and experience working according to HACCP or equivalent procedures.

• Ability to work systematically under high pressure and maintain quality in stressful situations.

• Service-oriented attitude and good collaboration skills within the kitchen team.

• Swedish spoken and written; English is a plus.

• Flexibility in working hours with the ability to work evenings and weekends.

• Detail-oriented and quality-conscious—you consistently deliver good dishes and care about details.
