Location Description

Our school is beautifully located by the sea in Tyresö Brevik. We have a preschool, preschool class, and primary school/recreation center (grades F-6) under the same roof. We have around 70 children in the preschool and around 280 children in the school.

As a kitchen assistant, your work will consist of various tasks in the school restaurant, such as dishwashing, cleaning, preparing for, during, and after lunch and snack times, receiving deliveries, and being helpful where needed. The kitchen assistant part of the position covers 12 hours/week, Monday to Thursday, from 11:00 to 14:00.

In our well-equipped and functional kitchen, three people work: two chefs responsible for cooking and one kitchen assistant responsible for dishwashing and cleaning. We serve around 400 lunch portions per day. Whenever possible, the food is prepared from scratch, and our lunch consists of a buffet with several different options.

It is important that you greet and treat diners in a friendly and professional manner. You should be able to collaborate easily with your colleagues.

You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Working Hours: The position is 30% (12 hours/week, working hours Monday–Thursday). Holiday service.

Duration: Temporary position from 2026-08-11 to 2026-12-17, with a possible extension.

Start Date: August 2026 to December 2026.

Salary: Fixed monthly salary.
