About Chokladhuset

We are a chocolate café featuring a shop and ice cream bar where everything is handmade from scratch.

No semi-finished products, no preservatives – just pure ingredients and craftsmanship.

Our ice cream is made with real cream, our pralines feature high-quality chocolate, and our coffee is a proprietary blend. Everything is baked on-site, and we always go the extra mile to create flavors that exceed expectations. Since 2006, we have been selected to produce the unique "Nobel Pralines" for the annual Nobel Prize after-party.

We are open year-round, seven days a week, including holidays.

About the Role:

In your role at Chokladhuset, you will be responsible for

• Taking orders & handling cash register payments
• Preparing hot and cold beverages
• Making ice cream and shakes
• Serving guests
• Dishwashing and ensuring the café is clean and presentable
• Preparing simple food items such as sandwiches and waffles
• Restocking pralines and merchandising in displays and shelves
• Preparing and serving alcoholic beverages
• Being the face of the brand and answering customer questions about our exclusive and popular Nobel Pralines

We are looking for someone who:

Has a strong sense of service, genuine customer focus, and always greets guests with a warm smile. You remain calm and methodical, can and want to work independently, have the ability to anticipate needs, and take initiative. Your work is characterized by precision and efficiency, even in fast-paced and stressful situations.

Requirements:

• Experience from cafés, patisseries, or restaurants
• Responsible and reliable
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing
• Availability for weekend shifts on-site in Nynäshamn. Weekend shifts between approx. 09:00–19:00 are mandatory.
• Quick on your feet and able to handle stress well
• Available to start immediately

Preferred Qualifications:

• Barista training or equivalent experience
• Sales training
• Strong interest in chocolate and confectionery

Additional Info: Part-time position with scheduled weekends, minimum 3 weekends per month. Weekday shifts may be added as needed. Hours vary between 25–50%. Location: Hamngatan 5, Nynäshamn. Start date: Immediate.
