We are currently looking for dedicated kitchen assistants for flexible staffing assignments in schools and preschools throughout Greater Stockholm.

🍳 About the role and your responsibilities

As a kitchen assistant in a school or preschool, you play an important role in ensuring the school day runs smoothly. Your main tasks include:

• Assisting with cooking and preparations, creating fresh salad buffets, and plating food in an appetizing way.
• Preparing the dining area before service, managing food service, and cleaning up afterwards.
• Handling dishes and cleaning to keep the kitchen in top condition.
• Participating in self-control and ensuring high food safety standards.

👤 Who are you?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic work environment where no two days are alike. Since you will work at various locations, you must be flexible, social, and able to collaborate easily with new people.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least one year of documented experience from a large kitchen or school kitchen.
• Has a diploma in food hygiene/HACCP.
• Speaks and understands Swedish fluently (so you can easily take in instructions and communicate with colleagues and guests).
• Can provide a valid extract from the criminal record for work within schools and preschools.

It is a plus (but not a requirement) if you:

• Have education from a hotel and restaurant school, or a vocational education as a chef or meal assistant.
