Conference Host at Hotel C Stockholm

Do you want to help shape the future of conference experiences? Hotel C Stockholm, one of Stockholm's most popular meeting venues, opened its newly renovated conference facilities in late April 2024. We are now looking for an engaged, driven, and solution-oriented person who wants to deliver conference experiences and guest meetings in line with our brand.

At Hotel C Stockholm, we strive to offer a unique and versatile experience in the heart of Stockholm. Located next to Stockholm Central Station and the Arlanda Express, we create a vibrant meeting place. With our 367 rooms, 11 conference rooms, our restaurant Swede Hollow, and our unique collaboration with ICEHOTEL in Jukkasjärvi through which we operate ICEBAR Stockholm, we offer a unique destination in the midst of the city's pulse.

Your responsibilities include:

• Daily operations in the conference department, such as welcoming guests, setting up coffee breaks, preparing conference rooms, clearing dishes, cleaning the conference kitchen, and other areas.
• Handle and master the technology in our conference rooms, such as sound, light, and image.
• Be the customer's contact person at the hotel throughout the meeting/conference/event.
• Provide service to guests in the house, especially conference guests.
• Promote close collaboration with other departments at the hotel to create a smooth and seamless meeting and conference experience.
• Stay informed about the groups we have in the house and upcoming arrangements.

We are looking for you who:

• Wants to deliver conference experiences and guest meetings with joy, energy, and engagement in true hospitality spirit.
• Is proactive and driven in your daily work and wants to learn more.
• Is good at juggling many balls at the same time.
• Likes a dynamic work environment where changes happen with short notice and no day is like the other.
• Master Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Experience in conference operations is an advantage but not a requirement.

The role is operational and is a 75% permanent employment with a fixed monthly salary according to agreement and collective agreement. Evening and weekend work occurs.
