With Pamoja, you work both freely and securely. This role is perfect for those looking for a flexible side job. You can adjust your schedule right up until 23:59 the day before your shift.

We are now looking for a cook to work in school kitchens. It’s an important and independent role where you’ll make a real difference for both children and adults at school, every single day.

As a cook, you will be responsible for planning menus, ordering ingredients, and preparing nutritious meals according to current guidelines. You will lead the kitchen operations and ensure that hygiene protocols and self-control measures are strictly followed. A role for those who want to contribute to providing children and young people with healthy and delicious meals during the school day.

Pamoja is Sweden’s largest provider of temporary staff for schools. We have contracts with numerous schools and offer a wide variety of exciting assignments.

How the job works

You often work on short notice (same morning). You can work as much or as little, as often or as rarely as you like. The specific tasks you’ll be assigned will be agreed upon when you’re hired. You will always be personally matched to assignments based on your preferences and qualifications.

Manage your work easily through our smart app. Plus, you’ll always have a personal contact with our support team who will assist you whenever needed – before, during, and after your shifts. You work securely under a collective agreement. Naturally, you’ll receive a thorough introduction to the role before you start.

What do you need?

  • A high school diploma from the Restaurant and Food Program, or completed vocational training as a cook/chef.
  • At least 12 months of experience working as a cook in a large-scale kitchen. You must also be ready to take responsibility, show initiative, and work well with others.
  • Great flexibility to change your schedule – but you must be reliable and honor your commitments.
  • Availability to work at least 2 days per week (If you’re a student? At least 1 day/week is sufficient).
  • A desire to be a positive role model for everyone you meet in your work!

How to apply

Our recruitment process is modern, fast, and bias-free. You’ll start by answering a few questions. After that, you’ll receive an email with a link to our job assessment. The goal is for us to get to know you better. Following the test, we’ll reach out regarding the next steps.
