We are now looking for you who want to work as a Kitchen Assistant in school kitchens. An important and varied role where you contribute to keeping the kitchen running smoothly every day.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help the chef with preparations and basic meal prep, such as salads, sandwiches, and keeping food warm. You will receive deliveries, keep the kitchen tidy, and ensure hygiene routines are followed.

You work independently but always in close collaboration with the chef and colleagues. A role for you who enjoys a fast pace, service, and creating a pleasant dining environment for both students and staff.

Pamoja is Sweden's largest provider of school substitutes. We have agreements with many schools and offer a wide range of exciting assignments.

How the job works

You often work on short notice (same morning). You can work as much or as little, often or rarely. Which tasks you will work on will be agreed upon when you are hired. You will always be personally matched to assignments based on your preferences and qualifications.

Manage your job easily through our smart app. Additionally, you always have a personal contact with our support team who assists you whenever needed – before, during, and after your shift. Work securely with a collective agreement. Of course, you will receive a thorough introduction before starting.

What do you need to know?

• You must have completed upper secondary education and food hygiene training.
• You need at least 6 months of experience working in a school cafeteria or large kitchen, with cooking and serving duties. You must also be willing to take responsibility and initiative, and enjoy collaborating with others.
• You have great freedom to change your schedule – but you must be reliable and work as committed.
• You need to be available for at least 2 days per week (Are you a student? Then you need to be available for at least 1 day/week).
• You should want to be a positive role model for everyone you meet in your work!
