Summer is here ☀️ and it's time for us to find our new Sous Chef!

At Brasserie Hötorget, we’ve created a space where an open kitchen with guests seated around it and a grand, impressive bar take center stage. Along the windows lies our dining area, dominated by sofas in various color tones, while the floor transitions between carpet, wood, and stone. Just like at our other neighborhood bistros, we fill the venue with diverse lighting fixtures – hanging from the ceiling, mounted on the walls, and built into the carpentry.

As Sous Chef, your role is to drive and develop the kitchen within the framework set by management, the Head Chef, and the Restaurant Manager. Your focus will be ensuring smooth operations, profitability, and a well-motivated team. You will work closely in collaboration with the Head Chef.

About the role

You will be responsible for:

• maintaining company policies and procedures.
• self-control – HACCP standards.
• leading and coaching kitchen staff.

You will also share responsibility for:

• monthly inventory management.
• ordering and handling returns.
• ensuring the quality of served dishes.
• recipe & cost documentation.
• training staff on new dishes.
• achieving set food cost targets.
• optimizing labor costs for scheduled shifts.
