Welcome to us

We see you, we hear you, you learn!

We are building further! Betty Pettersson Upper Secondary School in Enskede opened its doors in August 2022.

Here, students can study university-preparatory programs and are guided towards their and our shared future. The school's keywords, regardless of program and specialization, are: Human, Surroundings, and Future (MOF). We are a genuine upper secondary school where everyone has the opportunity to be part of the whole, and there is active work underway to create and facilitate student participation. We know that skilled and present staff are crucial for students to succeed in life and for the school to fulfill its mission. If you think like us, you might be one of the people we are now looking for at Betty Pettersson Upper Secondary School to continue building the school.

In the autumn of 2026, the lower secondary school (grades 7-9) will also move into our premises.

We offer

In January 2026, we opened the school's production kitchen in newly renovated, state-of-the-art facilities.

Here, you will be able to participate in the launch of the school restaurant and its development.

We serve soup and a vegetarian alternative in addition to the main course every day.

We serve approximately 400 portions from January 2026 and will serve approximately 1,200 portions from the autumn of 2026.

The position is a break-time service role.

Tasks and preparation should be carried out in a professional manner with a good working environment, ensuring that all laws, regulations, and guidelines are followed.

Quality work includes ensuring there is a written ingredient list for all food. You will be involved in the daily work of self-control according to the city's guidelines and HACCP, ensuring hygiene and safe food, and actively working to reduce CO2.

We will place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate and work in a team; we want you to contribute to a positive work climate and sustainable working environment.

We expect you to have a professional and courteous attitude towards our students and staff.

You need to be trained in food hygiene and have a good service level towards our students, staff, and colleagues.

You need to be solution-focused and able to handle and resolve arising situations.

Your role

In your role as a cook with us, you will be part of a team led by the head chef.

You will prepare delicious and nutritious meals for the school's students and staff according to the city's regulations.

Your competence and experience

We are looking for you who have documented experience as a cook, preferably in a large-scale kitchen.

In addition, we are looking for you who:

  • have the ability to see what needs to be done, work in a structured manner, take initiative, and cope with working under stress.

It is an advantage if you have experience from a school kitchen or large-scale kitchen environment.

To work in our schools, you must present a valid extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion register before an offer of employment is made.
