At Joyweek, we are currently looking for a service-oriented and driven Reception & Conference Manager for one of our clients in Solna. Here you will have a central role where you combine operational reception work with responsibility for daily service and administration in the building.
You will work in a lively, modern, and social environment where several companies have their operations under the same roof. The reception serves as the hub of the building's service offerings and is an important contact point for both tenants, visitors, and suppliers.
The building offers, among other things, a restaurant, gym, conference facilities, and shared service functions, creating a dynamic workplace with many touchpoints and varied workdays.
Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for creating a professional, welcoming, and well-functioning environment for everyone who visits the building.
About the Role
As the Reception Manager, you are a key person in the building and an important contact point for the companies operating there. You work operationally at the reception while having overall responsibility for ensuring that service, administration, and daily routines maintain high quality.
The role combines customer contact, coordination, and administration, and is suitable for you who enjoy taking ownership, building relationships, and creating a first-class experience for everyone in the building. You coordinate service issues, handle invoicing and administration, and ensure that the reception and the building's common areas maintain a professional and welcoming standard.
As an important service partner to the building's tenants, you also support their daily operations. This may include covering the switchboard during lunch breaks, coordinating deliveries, assisting with events, or helping out when companies in the building need extra support.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operation of the reception
- Welcome visitors, customers, and suppliers
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and inquiries
- Administer bookings for meeting and conference rooms
- Handle invoicing and some administration related to tenants and services
- Coordinate service issues and contact with suppliers
- Support events, conferences, and activities in the building
- Ensure that the reception and common areas maintain high standards
- Collaborate closely with other colleagues to create a first-class service experience
We are looking for you who
- Are service-oriented, responsible, and self-driven
- Enjoy taking ownership and driving the work forward
- Are social, have an easy time building relationships, and establishing trust
- Are structured and have good administrative skills
- Have an eye for detail and enjoy creating order
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
We would appreciate if you have previous experience from reception, co-working spaces, hotels, conference operations, or other service-oriented roles where administration and customer contact were a natural part of everyday life. Previous experience in a site manager or supervisory role is an advantage.
