We are starting a new midwifery clinic at the Family Center Rådmansvången in Malmö - a branch of the Midwifery Clinic Familjens Hus - and we are looking for someone who wants to be part of building something new with us from the beginning.

With us, you will be part of an engaged, competent, and interdisciplinary team where collaboration and a holistic perspective are in focus. The team will consist of a midwife, two child health care nurses, a parent advisor, and one or two preschool teachers. We offer a unique and varied position with rotation between outpatient and inpatient care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a midwife with us, you will work two days a week at the midwifery clinic and three days a week in the delivery ward, prenatal care, or maternity ward in Malmö or Lund. The work at the midwifery clinic includes pregnancy monitoring, parental support together with child health care and family advisors, postnatal care, contraceptive counseling, infection control and tracking, as well as counseling during menopause. This setup allows you to combine continuity and relationship-building work within maternal health care with clinical and acute work within inpatient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed midwife with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. For the position, language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale are required. You also have broad experience as a midwife within maternal health care. If you have prescribing rights, it is an advantage.
