We are now looking for a job and education coach for the labor market training program Korta Vägen as part of our assignment operations in Växjö.

Korta Vägen is a preparatory labor market training program where you work with academics in various modules to prepare them for the labor market. The goal of Akademikertjänst Korta Vägen is to prepare participants for obtaining a job that matches their academic education and/or experience, or to prepare participants for supplementary academic studies so that their original education meets the demands of the labor market. We expect our employees to meet our participants with humility and respect, and we place great importance on personal suitability. The training is conducted on behalf of the employment agency.

Qualifications

• Academic education of at least two years of full-time studies (equivalent to 80 credits in the old system or 120 credits in the current system).
• At least one (1) year of documented professional experience in coaching conversations for at least 50% of a full-time position.
• The experience must not be older than three years.
• Fluent English in both spoken and written forms.
• Experience in, for example, Rusta & matcha or other similar assignments is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities

The work will involve teaching and mentoring in areas such as:

• Career coaching
• Labor market knowledge
• Digital competence
• Interview techniques
• Mapping

You will also be responsible for administering the operations in relevant systems. Some teaching will also take place as remote instruction.

We want you, as a candidate for the coaching position, to have a very clear outward-facing profile. You should enjoy working with people and be able to adapt to each individual's needs.

As a person, you are communicative, responsible, and flexible. It is an advantage if you already have good knowledge of the local and regional labor market in the area and good contacts with employers in various industries.

About the Employment

The position is a fixed-term employment until October 17, 2026, at 50% of full-time. There may be an opportunity for extension. The place of employment is Växjö. Start date according to agreement.
