Accountant at JLT Mobile Computers

Do you want to work in an operational accounting role with clear responsibility, structure, and trust? We are now looking for an Accountant to step in for a longer-term assignment and take responsibility for ongoing accounting, with a clear ambition for the role to transition into a permanent position as JLT sees a long-term need to strengthen and develop the finance function over time.

The position is located at JLT Mobile Computers in Växjö. The role is close to operations and involves clear responsibility for daily accounting work, where structure, accuracy, and personal drive are crucial.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Accountant at JLT, you will work with ongoing accounting and be an important part of the daily finance function. The work requires an independent and structured approach, where you are responsible for ensuring that the accounting maintains high quality and follows the correct timeline.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Accounts payable and invoicing
• Ongoing bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and payments
• Reconciliation of balance accounts and monthly closing
• VAT reporting and simpler reporting
• Administrative tasks related to payroll, time reporting, and expenses

The work is conducted in the business system Jeeves and in Excel. The role involves collaboration both internally and with an external accounting firm, with the ambition to eventually bring more of the accounting work in-house. As part of the finance function, you will also come into contact with a broader corporate structure. The parent company in Växjö manages several Swedish companies as well as international subsidiaries, where much of the accounting is done centrally. This provides a role that can be perceived as both developing and varied.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in similar accounting tasks who thrives in a role where you can take responsibility in your daily work. You are meticulous, structured, and proactive, and have a working style characterized by order, quality, and reliability. You feel comfortable with numbers, systems, and data, even in situations where you need to work independently.

We believe you:

• Have worked with ongoing accounting and preferably monthly closing
• Are self-driven and take responsibility for your work
• Have good system skills and feel comfortable in Excel
• Thrive in an operational and unpretentious environment

A formal education at the college or university level is an advantage and seen as positive, but relevant experience and the right attitude are more important. The role may also suit you if you are at the beginning of your accounting career and are not yet fully independent in all areas of ongoing accounting. The important thing is that you have a good foundation, the right attitude, and a willingness to take responsibility and develop in the role.
