The Workplace

Strömsnässkolan consists of four units and is led by three principals along with several work teams. We are facing an exciting development phase where a comprehensive new construction of the school will soon begin. As a school administrator, you will therefore play a significant role in both the daily work and in the long-term development as we shape the learning environments of the future.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of school administrator, you are one of the school's most important hubs. You are often the first person students, guardians, staff, and visitors meet when they come to us, and through your professional and warm approach, you create a safe and service-oriented environment in the school's reception, office, and also in the students' café. You work closely with the school management and are responsible for many of the school's administrative processes. One of the most central tasks is staffing substitutes and short-term staffing – a job that involves rapid changes and requires both structure, flexibility, and a good ability to prioritize.

The work also includes student administration with registration, grade management, and documentation, as well as contacts with authorities and other external actors. You work daily in several of the school's digital systems such as IST, InfoMentor, Teams, Raindance, WinLas, and Skola24, and you have significant responsibility in the school's scheduling, bookings, and internal planning.

Since the job involves many contact points and varying pace, we are looking for someone who expresses themselves well both verbally and in writing, who is confident, service-oriented, and solution-focused, and who creates stability even when a lot is happening at the same time. Your ability to create structure, build good relationships, and contribute to a positive work environment is crucial for you to thrive in the role.

Requirements

You have:

• Education in administration or something that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• Experience in administrative work, preferably from a school or public sector.
• Experience working in one or more of the school's digital systems.
• Experience working with scheduling in systems such as Skola24.

The Position

We offer a permanent position at 75–100% with a six-month probationary period. Start date is according to agreement.
