Controller - PropTech Energy - Växjö

Jefferson Wells is now seeking a Controller for a long-term consulting assignment in Växjö with PropTech Energy. This is an opportunity for you who want to work in a growing group where real estate, energy, and sustainability meet - with both operational responsibility and strategic analysis. The assignment has the possibility of extension or transition to the company.

About the Role

As a Controller, you will have a central role in the financial work and become a key person in the group's continued expansion. You will work broadly with accounting, operational follow-up, and analysis, and act as the spider in the web for the finance function for one of the largest group companies with stakeholders both at the group level and in the operational business. You will collaborate closely with managers, colleagues in the finance department, and other Controllers in the group.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Analysis and follow-up work related to key figures and goals
Ongoing accounting and reconciliations
Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including participation in group accounting
Tax and VAT reporting
Budgeting and forecasting work
Support managers and the business with financial insights
Initiate improvement work within processes and routines
Ensure quality and delivery in the closing process and financial processes in general

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and unpretentious - and who thrives in a role where you can combine operational work with strategic analysis. You have experience in qualified financial work and are used to working independently with both routines and process development.

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of experience in qualified financial work
Independently prepared financial statements, preferably at the group level
Experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
High IT maturity and excellent Excel skills as well as analytical tools (e.g., Power BI or equivalent)
Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
Solution-oriented, structured, and responsible
