HR Generalist at Heidelberg Materials

Heidelberg Materials develops and manufactures building systems that support housing, industries, and critical community projects across the country. We are now looking for an HR Generalist who wants to take independent responsibility for HR work in several factories and contribute to strengthening leadership, working methods, and the organization's long-term development.

About the Position

As an HR Generalist, you will be part of Heidelberg Materials Northern Europe's HR organization and provide operational and qualified support to managers in several factories in southern Sweden within Heidelberg Materials Precast Abetong. The role involves ensuring a professional and business-oriented HR operation in line with corporate guidelines and applicable legislation. You will report to the HR manager for Precast Abetong and be part of the HR team at Precast Abetong.

You will work broadly within HR and support managers in daily personnel work throughout the employee lifecycle, while also working to develop managers to handle HR issues more confidently on their own. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining and further developing the structure and quality of HR processes, which is done in close collaboration with others in the HR organization. You will also be responsible for ensuring that HR systems are used correctly and that relevant materials and documentation are produced and followed up.

You will work independently with your factories in consultation with the HR manager for Precast Abetog, an HR generalist within Precast Abetong, and the corporate HR Generalists. Together, you will contribute to a more unified and long-term HR operation.

About You

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in broad HR work within the manufacturing industry. You are an experienced system user and enjoy working both operationally and administratively, as well as tactically and strategically. A relevant university degree in HR or personnel science is advantageous. You can communicate both verbally and in writing in Swedish and English.

As a person, you are engaged, positive, and confident with a good ability to inspire those around you. You thrive in an operational environment and see it as a given to be close to the business, build relationships, and create trust in production. You are supportive and skilled at acting as a sounding board in employer-related issues. With initiative, execution power, and stability, you contribute to a professional and long-term HR operation.

Good to Know

You will be employed by Heidelberg Materials Sweden AB and work operationally with Precast Abetong's various factories. The position can be based in Vislanda or Falkenberg. Travel between factories occurs about one to two days every other week.
