The Public Transport Authority of Kronoberg is an administration within Region Kronoberg. Our mission is to contribute to good travel opportunities in the county by offering a well-functioning public transport system as well as special transport services for the municipalities that have tasked us with procuring/performing transport services for the disabled and school trips.

The Public Transport Authority carries out over 10 million trips a year within public transport, and our overarching goal is to have more satisfied customers.

Service Transport is a booking center for transport services for the disabled, medical trips, and other demand-responsive transport.

Our mission includes booking trips and coordinating transport as efficiently and environmentally friendly as possible with the customer at the center. Our clients are Region Kronoberg and all municipalities in Kronoberg County. Currently, 25 people work in the booking center in various teams that depend on good collaboration.

We are now looking for a substitute for our team.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a traffic planner, you will work with all our modes of transport, and planning requires close collaboration with our transport companies.

You will have several different systems to work in, and the ability to collaborate with many different stakeholders is of great importance in daily work.

In your work, you will also contribute to maintaining and developing Service Transport's relationships with customers, clients, and transport companies.

The working hours are scheduled, which means shifts during both day and evening hours, as well as weekends.

We are open from 7 AM to 7 PM on weekdays and from 8 AM to 6 PM on weekends.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Responsibility for traffic planning and optimization of trips
  • Working in several different systems
  • Daily contact with transport companies and drivers
  • Handling incoming calls from our customers and drivers

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has some form of logistics education
  • Has experience working in digital systems, preferably a planning system
  • Has worked with traffic or other logistics planning
  • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
  • Is analytical, logical, stress-resistant, and service-oriented
  • Is communicative and has good collaboration skills
  • Has good knowledge of Kronoberg County

Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
