Campus Gislaved offers education in Anderstorp and Gislaved. We educate approximately 1200 adults each year under municipal management with a wide range of programs; from SFI to vocational training and higher education locally. Campus Gislaved is part of the Department of Work and Education under the municipal executive administration. We focus on training for work in collaboration with businesses and public services in Gislaved Municipality.

Campus Gislaved teaches adults from all over the world, and therefore an interest in other cultures and collaboration with teachers in Swedish as a second language is a prerequisite for you to teach in the care and nursing education.

Responsibilities

Teaching in care and nursing programs at the adult education; Campus Gislaved. The position includes planning education in close collaboration with the principal/team leader/colleagues and the social services in Gislaved Municipality. The care education that Campus Gislaved currently offers trains for the professions of care assistant and nursing assistant. In the autumn, a combined education in care and nursing will also be launched. The education is flexible, which means that adult students can both work and study according to an individual study plan. Adult students study both on-site and via Teams and/or through self-study. The position will also include supervision, APL contacts, and other common tasks within the teaching profession.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with vocational teacher training, specializing in care and nursing education, or someone curious to try the job as a vocational teacher after working as a nurse for a few years.
