Your New Job

You will work in a health-promoting, preventive, and remedial capacity based on the assignment description for your profession. Through a cross-professional collaboration in the EHT, we together support students' development towards educational goals and contribute to creating accessible learning environments. Through your specific expertise, you will contribute to an enhanced student health effort and school development.

Attarpsskolan is currently undergoing an exciting development project focused on improving the organization for special support and school attendance. You will be an important player in this work.

As a special education teacher with us, you are an expert in special educational issues, which may involve both investigative work and guidance of staff as well as meetings with individual students.

The work is planned and carried out in close collaboration with school management, other members of the student health team, and teacher working groups. Collaborating with guardians, external organizations, and authorities such as central resource units, social services, child and adolescent psychiatry, and habilitation is part of the assignment.

Attarpsskolan is a grades 7-9 school with approximately 445 students and around 50 staff members. We are located in beautiful Bankeryd, 10 km north of Jönköping, and it is easy to get here using the municipality's public transport.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license for primary school and a degree in special education. Experience working with students in upper secondary school is an advantage.

You have a good ability to express yourself both verbally and in writing, as well as possess basic IT skills. As a person, you are engaged, creative, attentive, and empathetic. You have excellent collaboration skills and can lead and participate in various networks. You are structured and driven in quality work, documentation, and can work independently. Of course, you have a genuine interest in working with children and adolescents both in groups and individually.

Personal suitability is of great importance.
