Furulund School is Eksjö Municipality's only F-9 school. This means that we follow our students for many years, creating unique opportunities to monitor their learning and foster collaboration and good partnerships. We have 260 students and approximately 60 educators and other key personnel working together with the common goal that all students should feel good, be safe, and succeed in their studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged subject teacher in mathematics and physics.

At the upper secondary level, 15 educators work together with about 100 students. Here, the small school advantages are evident, where all staff know all students in the upper secondary level. The school has modern facilities and technology. You will be an important part of a well-functioning team for grades 7-9, where you will collaboratively plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work.

The position includes being a mentor for one of our classes together with a colleague.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified subject teacher in mathematics and physics for grades 7-9.

We are looking for a team player with high social competence and a positive view of students. You have good communication and collaboration skills. You have a solution-focused approach in your interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are open to learning from others and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences.

You are organized and structured as well as driven in your professional role. You have the will and great initiative to improve and develop the operations based on set goals. It is natural for you to work systematically and efficiently while being comfortable with digital technology.
