Welcome to apply for the position of preschool teacher at Förskolan Ekenhaga in the Trälleborg area preschools in Värnamo.

The area has three preschools: Förskolan Ekenhaga, Trälleborgs preschool, and Solstrålens preschool in Kärda. We have placed great emphasis on implementing the concept of Accessibility in our education. We work with pictures and signs as a complement to verbal language. We divide the children into smaller groups for most of the day. We find that this leads to increased participation and influence for the children and a better working environment for educators. We actively work to develop our quality work, where a central focus is the Swedish National Agency for Education's targeted efforts to develop knowledge about how we support all children's languages.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you have an outstanding opportunity to influence the conditions for each child's development through an exploratory and creative approach. By being present and curious about what the children are interested in, you can help create developing learning environments.

You have a pedagogical responsibility and lead your team based on the curriculum's guidelines and actively work with pedagogical planning, documentation, reflection, and follow-up. The work is done in a trusting manner and in close collaboration with colleagues and guardians.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher and has a good understanding of the preschool's mission and curriculum. You are clear and have a solution-oriented approach, as well as the ability to create engagement, joy at work, and clarity in your pedagogical leadership. You have a pedagogical perspective that combines professional care and teaching and serves as a good role model. We place great importance on personal suitability and the ability to think innovatively and solution-focused. Extensive experience with children in need of special support is meritorious, as is experience working with multilingualism. We also see a high ability to create good relationships with both children and guardians as meritorious. We would like you to attach a personal letter and CV.
