JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a special educator, you are part of the student health team, planning, establishing, and evaluating action programs in consultation with students, guardians, colleagues, and, where applicable, the principal. You also collaborate with the principal, special educator, and class teacher at the student's home school.
You promote clear communication with teaching staff regarding students' various needs in the classroom. You conduct and document pedagogical investigations and make the necessary contacts to ensure that the student progresses and receives relevant support. You guide colleagues at the school to better meet our students' needs. The position includes teaching in grades 4-6 and in a special education group.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained special educator and wants to work in a team. You have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and organize your work independently while being a team player. You build good relationships with both students and colleagues at the school, always keeping the student's best interests in mind. You find a balance between urgent and preventive work. You work towards remedial, promotional, and preventive efforts in your role. You are meticulous and can express yourself clearly and concisely in writing. You are comfortable speaking in front of groups and are happy to share your thoughts in various forums. Here, special educators work closely with other colleagues and the principal.

In your work, it is important to focus on both your and the students' development. You stay updated on the latest educational research. You have a positive attitude, good collaborative skills, and high expectations for yourself. You understand that relationship-building is crucial for both communication and knowledge acquisition.
