The leisure home Pingvinen is part of the operations at Furulundsskolan in Mariannelund, which is Eksjö Municipality's only F-9 school. We have about 60 children enrolled in the leisure home with a dedicated space on the school grounds. Some parts of the space are shared with the preschool class during the school day. Four educators work at the leisure home, and resource personnel also support certain students during the afternoon.

Furulundsskolan is located in central Mariannelund but close to forests and nature, where the large areas of the schoolyard provide opportunities for play and movement. The school grounds include a sports hall, multi-arena, and barbecue area that can be used for the leisure home's activities. During the first weeks of summer vacation, leisure activities are organized at Vallersvik's camp with proximity to forests, lakes, and opportunities for outdoor education and summer activities. The leisure home also visits Filmbyn Småland, Mariannelund's library, and other local partners.

At Furulundsskolan, there are 260 students and about 60 educators and other key personnel working towards the common goal that all students should feel good, be safe, and succeed in their studies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You are an engaged and certified primary teacher in leisure homes who wants to develop our leisure home operations.

We have two vacant positions for the autumn term, one at 100% and the other at 50%. Please indicate if you are interested in one or both.

With new facilities, we are looking for you who want to join us on the journey to continue developing the operations for the best leisure home. In dedicated spaces for the leisure home, we see endless possibilities and conditions for the operations we believe in. We want to provide students with a meaningful and enjoyable experience in accordance with the leisure home's mission.

During the school day, you will collaborate with the school and contribute your professional expertise either in our break activities or in cooperation with the class teacher in class. Your tasks may be shaped based on your educational focus.

Collaboration with the local community is important to provide students with opportunities for meaningful leisure. We want to promote outdoor activities and movement and utilize all the opportunities we have in our learning environment in the planning of the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a certified primary teacher in leisure homes. We would prefer that you have a focus in practical-aesthetic subjects or sports and health.

We seek a team player with high social competence and a positive view of students. You have good communication and collaboration skills. You have a solution-focused approach in your interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are open to learning from others and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences.

You are organized and structured as well as driven in your professional role. You have the will and great initiative in working to improve and develop the operations based on set goals.
