Furulund School is Eksjö municipality's only F-9 school. This means that we follow our students for many years, creating unique opportunities to track their learning as well as for collaboration and good cooperation opportunities. We have 260 students and approximately 60 educators and other key personnel working towards the common goal that all students should feel good, be safe, and succeed in their studies.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an engaged teacher in music and English for grades 4-6. The position is 50% and you will be part of the F-6 work team.

The position is located in grades 4-6 at Furulund School. Your tasks include independently and together with your closest colleague and the work team planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational work in the student group according to the school's curriculum. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of your teaching, always working towards a school with a high standard, where students are met with high positive expectations.

Together with colleagues, you contribute to a functioning operation where the development of yourself, the students, the work team, and the organization is in focus.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified teacher in music and English for grades 4-6.

We are looking for a team player with high social competence and a positive view of students. You have good communication and collaboration skills. You have a solution-focused approach in your interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are open to learning from others and are happy to share your knowledge and experiences.

You are organized and structured as well as driven in your professional role. You have the will and great initiative to improve and develop the organization based on set goals. It is natural for you to work systematically and efficiently while being comfortable with digital technology.
