Furulund School is Eksjö municipality's only F-9 school. This means that we follow our students for many years, creating unique opportunities to track their learning as well as fostering collaboration and good teamwork. We have 260 students and approximately 60 educators and other key personnel, all working towards the common goal that all students should feel good, be safe, and succeed in their studies.

Furulund School is located in central Mariannelund but is close to forests and nature, where the large areas of the schoolyard provide opportunities for play and movement.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an engaged teacher in textile crafts. You will be an important part of a well-functioning team for grades 7-9, where you will collaboratively plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work.

The position is 80% full-time, with 60% teaching at Furulund School and 20% at Ingatorp School.

The role includes being a mentor for one of our classes in grades 7-9 together with a colleague.

Since the position involves teaching at Ingatorp School as well, a personal car and a B driver's license are required, as it is about 10 km between the schools.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a certified subject teacher in textile crafts.

We are looking for a team player with high social competence and a positive view of students. You have good communication and collaboration skills. You have a solution-focused approach in your interactions with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are open to learning from others and are willing to share your knowledge and experiences.

You are organized and structured, as well as driven in your professional role. You have the will and great initiative to improve and develop the operations based on set goals.
