JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a temporary social worker during the summer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to important and meaningful social work. Your main tasks include receiving reports of concern and applications, as well as providing information, guidance, and advice via the reception phone. You will conduct preliminary assessments of reports of concern regarding adults and assist regular social workers in acute situations. The assignment also includes processing requests for statements in driving license matters from the Transport Agency.

• The work is primarily conducted based on the legislations SoL, LVU, LVM, and LSB.
• As a social worker in the Reception Unit, you will meet people of all ages.
• Your main task is to assess whether an investigation should be initiated or not.
• The Reception Unit often serves as the first contact with social services.
• Great importance is placed on making the first contact as positive as possible for those seeking support.
• The work involves varied and diverse tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is engaged, responsible, and has a genuine interest in social work, and who wants to contribute to an important and meaningful assignment during the summer.

• Social worker or social work student
• Completed at least one practical training (VFU) in public authority work according to SoL, LSB, LVU, and/or LVM
• Experience in preliminary assessments and work in BBIC is an advantage
• Having a B driver's license and driving experience is an advantage
