Summer Job in Processing of Permit Cases

We offer you an opportunity to learn and develop in the field of processing permit cases.

You will be responsible for preparing and processing cases related to security companies, foundations, and burial issues.

Depending on your previous experiences and knowledge, other tasks within the legal unit's area of work may also become relevant.

In the legal unit, you will gain broad insight into many of society's different legal areas. We are collectively responsible for preparing and deciding on a large number of administrative matters. We conduct supervision, permit granting, and control in a variety of areas. Furthermore, we prepare and decide on appeals in various legal areas, including the Planning and Building Act and the Environmental Code. The unit is also responsible for the work that the County Administrative Board has as an election authority.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• is studying or has graduated from a law program, legal studies program, or another legal academic education at the university level that we consider equivalent.
• has a good ability to communicate clearly, simply, and understandably both orally and in writing in Swedish.
• is experienced in working with and learning different computer programs.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• relevant experience from working in the public sector
• experience in exercising authority

As a person, you have the ability to work independently while also being able to collaborate and build good relationships. Furthermore, you have high integrity. In your work, you are meticulous, analytical, and can switch between different tasks/cases that are at various stages of processing.

Good to Know

The position is a summer job from June to September.

Since some jobs with us require security clearance, you may need to undergo a security clearance process before employment. This includes a security interview and background check. For certain positions, Swedish citizenship is required.
