About the job

As an employee in the legal unit of the County Administrative Board, you will gain broad insight into many of society's different legal areas. In the area of permits and supervision, it involves monitoring companies, guardianship, foundations, and burial issues. In these areas, the processing and supervision also cover Västerbotten, Västernorrland, and Jämtland counties. We also provide advice and support in legal matters to the authority's other operations.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work with permit cases in an exciting and developing environment. The work involves being responsible for investigating, preparing, and processing cases mainly within the aforementioned areas.

The work is constantly evolving, and based on our mission, the tasks may change over time. Therefore, you need to be able to handle changes. At the same time, this gives you opportunities to develop and both broaden and deepen your competence with us.

About you

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an academic degree in law or legal science, or another academic education that the employer considers equivalent along with experience in the field
  • the ability to express yourself in Swedish both orally and in writing, as well as the ability to adapt your communication to different target groups.
  • a driver's license

As a person, you are solution-oriented, communicative, and enjoy searching for answers and finding new ways to increase effectiveness and efficiency. You have the ability to work independently while also being able to collaborate and build good relationships. Furthermore, you have high integrity. In your work, you are meticulous, analytical, result-oriented, and can handle many parallel issues at the same time.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

  • experience in preparing and/or deciding on various administrative matters.
  • experience working within any of the County Administrative Board's areas of operation.

Good to know

The position is a temporary contract until December 2026.

Since some jobs with us require security clearance, you may need to undergo a security check before employment. This includes a security interview and background check. For certain jobs, Swedish citizenship is required.
