About the position

We are expanding in Växjö and are looking for engaged software engineers who want to be part of an exciting journey with us at IKG. As a software engineer with us, you will work on developing and integrating advanced software solutions for our customers, who are leaders in their industries. Depending on your background and interest, you can specialize in embedded systems (e.g., embedded C++, real-time systems) or application development (e.g., full stack, system architecture, CI/CD).

In this role, you will be involved in various phases of software development – from requirements analysis and system design to implementation, integration, and testing. The projects vary and can encompass everything from developing embedded systems for vehicle platforms to applications for connected services or high-performance system architectures. You will collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions and can contribute to developing new methods and technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer engineering, software development, electrical engineering, or equivalent, or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in software development, integration, or testing (e.g., embedded systems or application development)
• Knowledge of requirements management, system design, and technical documentation
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable qualifications

• Experience in programming in C++, Java, Python, or SQL
• Experience with embedded systems, real-time systems, or vehicle communication (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of tools such as Git, Jenkins, Gerrit, Bitbucket, or Artifactory
• Experience in test-driven development, unit testing, or CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with Android AOSP, Android Framework, or Java Swing
• Knowledge of high-performance system architectures or configuration management
• Experience with agile methods (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) or functional safety (e.g., ISO 26262)
• Experience from industries such as telecom, automotive, and defense.
