Game Math Developer at IGT in Växjö

Work with probability, simulation, and technical systems behind casino games. Do you have strong logical thinking skills and enjoy working with probability and programming in practice? Do you like analyzing systems, testing scenarios, and understanding how mathematical models work in reality?

We are now looking for a Game Math Developer for an assignment at IGT in Växjö through Maxkompetens.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will analyze and further develop mathematical models in existing systems. You will use internal simulation tools and models to test, adjust, and ensure the quality of mathematical outcomes. The role also involves a lot of programming, where you will work in technical tools and a simpler C++ codebase to conduct simulations and analyze results.

You will be part of a smaller team and work closely with a colleague with similar responsibilities. The role involves both independent work and collaboration with developers and other functions.

You will:

• Work with probability theory and statistical calculations
• Run simulations and analyze outcomes
• Work on and improve existing models and systems
• Program and work technically in internal tools
• Support work related to regulatory requirements and certifications

This is an applied and technically oriented role where analysis and programming are combined.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of probability theory
• Is strong in logical and analytical thinking
• Has good knowledge of basic programming (C++ is a plus)
• Enjoys working systematically in technical systems
• Is curious and likes to understand how things work in depth

You may be at the beginning of your career or have a few years of experience; the most important thing is your problem-solving ability and technical interest. You need to be comfortable working in an international environment where English is the corporate language.
