This is done at strategic, tactical, and operational levels. Ensuring that the region's IT landscape is purposeful, cost-effective, secure, and robust is also an important part of our mission.

Within Information Technology, we currently have about 135 employees with various professional backgrounds distributed across 9 departments. We work in shared premises in the Sigfrids area in Växjö.

We are now looking for IT Architects

We are currently seeking IT architects for the IT Architecture and Design department. In the department, we are 5 employees with the common mission to ensure that the region's IT landscape is designed for today's and tomorrow's needs and digital development through various perspectives of IT architecture.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT architect with us, you will work closely with the operations to understand needs, challenges, and goals. You will translate these into well-thought-out, sustainable, and purposeful solutions that support the operations' processes and information management over time. Together with our chief architect and other IT architects, you will help develop the overall architecture with a particular focus on operational capabilities, information structure, and solution design.

In this role, you will work with overarching architecture principles, target architecture, guidelines, and investigations. You will investigate and guide decisions for new solutions and contribute to translating the operational needs into robust, long-term manageable solutions that align with both regional and national strategies.

You will operate in a broad and collaborative environment where you:

• collaborate and are active close to operations, IT specialists, and suppliers
• cooperate with other regions and authorities in joint initiatives
• support and guide colleagues in architectural matters

Region Kronoberg is active in national architectural issues related to healthcare. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute both regionally and nationally and help influence the development of the digital ecosystem.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a university degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent competence acquired through relevant work experience.

You should have previous experience in IT architecture in large and complex environments, primarily in solution, business, or information architecture. Experience with established architecture models, methods, frameworks, and tools is an advantage.

You have the ability to analyze operational needs and translate them into sustainable and long-term solutions. As a person, you are curious, driven, and structured with good collaborative skills. You are communicative, proactive, unpretentious, and thrive in a changing and complex organization where documentation is an important and natural part of the work.

Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is a requirement. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
