IGT in Växjö is now looking for a software developer who wants to help further develop the platform on which our games run.

Your Responsibilities

This is a role where you do not develop the games themselves, but the technical systems that make them possible. As a software developer at IGT, you will work with backend and system-level development in C#/.NET and play a central role in ensuring that our games run on a stable, efficient, and secure platform. You will work with the software that the games run on and the underlying systems behind them, including functionality that communicates directly with hardware. The role is broad and varied, with many parallel tasks and a fast pace.

You will:

• Develop and enhance systems in C#/.NET
• Work with backend and system-level functionality
• Contribute to improved code quality, structure, and architecture
• Collaborate in a technical team of 5-7 people
• Work agile in a Scrum-light environment with Jira

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good knowledge of C# and .NET
• Has strong programming skills and a genuine interest in technology
• Thrives in system-level development and complex problem-solving
• Is structured and solution-oriented

C++ and database knowledge are advantageous. You may be early in your career with strong motivation and technical curiosity, or have several years of experience; the most important thing is that programming is your primary strength and that you want to work deeply with systems. You need to be comfortable working in an international environment where English is the corporate language.
