As a Hardware Design Engineer at Aros Electronics, you will play a central role in the development of robust, cost-effective, and production-adapted electronic solutions. You will work with complex hardware manufactured in our own production facility for demanding industrial and automotive applications.

The role involves overall responsibility for hardware design, from early concept phase to verification and industrialization. You are expected to take technical responsibility in projects, make well-founded trade-offs between performance, quality, cost, and manufacturability, and contribute with experience and structure to the development work. Your experiences and strengths can influence how the position evolves moving forward.

Projects are carried out in-house in close collaboration with colleagues in software, motor design, and project management, as well as with customers and external experts. Collaboration with our customers' development organizations gives you the opportunity to influence both technical solutions and working methods. You will work simultaneously on several projects of varying size and complexity.

We are looking for an engaged engineer with a genuine interest in electronics, who enjoys solving problems and driving innovation. You are a team player with good social and communication skills and feel comfortable collaborating with both colleagues and customers. Since communication occurs in both Swedish and English, you need to be able to express yourself fluently in both languages.

We would like you to have:

• A degree as a civil or university engineer in electronics, mechatronics, or equivalent work experience

• Good knowledge of OrCAD Capture or similar schematic tools

• Experience in circuit board design

• Good component knowledge

Knowledge and experience in power electronics, instrumentation, requirements management, EMC, DFM/DFT, electric drive systems, and hardware-near programming are advantageous.
