Temporary Position as Medical Secretary in Region Gävleborg

Now you, who are studying to become a medical secretary, have the opportunity to work temporarily with us in Region Gävleborg, a workplace where you can grow and develop.

We are a team of about 70 medical secretaries who staff and support several units within Region Gävleborg. Our area of operation covers the emergency department, internal medicine, cardiology, paramedicine, and specialized medicine. As part of our team, you will gain valuable experience in a stimulating work environment where we work together to ensure effective and quality care documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The tasks may vary depending on which unit you work in. Staffing in the emergency department occurs every day of the week, while work in medicine is Monday to Friday.

• care documentation
• registration in care systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in the role of a medical secretary, you need to be communicative and attentive. We are looking for someone who is engaged, meticulous, and enjoys working in a team.

In the role of a medical secretary, you should have:

• a completed LIA 1 placement from your ongoing education to become a medical secretary or be a fully qualified medical secretary
• good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

We ask that you indicate which weeks you are available for work in your application. Also, please specify where you had your LIA and who your supervisor was.
