Responsibilities

In the role of payroll specialist, you are responsible for the entire payroll chain, from start to finish. You work independently but in close collaboration with other functions to ensure correct payroll payments. Your main tasks include:

  • Management of the entire payroll process
  • Review and control of input data such as timesheets, expenses, benefits, and absences
  • Updating and maintaining personnel accounts, employment contracts, and master data in the payroll system
  • Interpretation and application of collective agreements, laws, and internal policies
  • Preparation of statistics and reports to authorities as well as handling tax declarations.
  • Answering questions from employees and managers regarding salaries, vacation, and leave
  • Participating in efforts to refine and streamline our existing payroll routines and checklists.

Qualifications
