Montessori School Centrum is a sought-after independent school for grades F–9 located at Vasaplatsen in central Gothenburg. We have 260 students from across the city and choose to reinvest all surplus back into the school. Your Responsibilities

As a class teacher and mentor in the middle school, you will work alongside a colleague. You will be part of a positive and well-functioning team. We apply a co-teaching model in core subjects, which means there may also be occasional teaching sessions at the high school level.

You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in line with the curriculum and create a safe and stimulating learning environment. Collaboration with colleagues, student health, and guardians is an essential part of the work. As a mentor, you are an important source of security for your students and build relationships that promote their development.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who:

Is a certified elementary teacher for grades 4–6 with qualifications in Math/Science; broad subject qualifications are an advantage.

Is clear in your leadership and adapts teaching to the needs of the student group.

Has a positive view of students and high expectations.

Has good relational skills and creates secure student groups.

Collaborates well with colleagues, guardians, and school management.

Personal suitability and social competence are highly valued. Experience or education in Montessori pedagogy is an advantage.
