Mariaskolan is one of the oldest independent schools in Sweden with a Christian profile, and has been in Malmö for 40 years. We currently have about 250 students in our primary school (F-9) and about 100 children in our preschool. The school's principal, the Christian School Association in Malmö, is a non-profit organization and the school is located in the Stadium area.

Mariaskolan reflects Malmö's diversity of children and students. Our goal is to shape secure and curious students with very good academic results.

The Christian values of Mariaskolan permeate the activities of both the primary school, the after-school program, and the preschool.

We aim to create a good working environment for both students and staff, while striving to maintain a high pedagogical level.

Currently, about 70 dedicated staff members work at Mariaskolan's primary school, after-school program, and preschool, and we look forward to meeting you!

We are now looking for a teacher in SO/SV for grades 4 and 6 and a mentor for grade 6 for a temporary position during VT26 with a possible extension for the next school year.

We are looking for someone with a Christian worldview who wants to help shape our students into secure, curious, and democratic individuals. We expect you to be a certified teacher and preferably have a few years of teaching experience.

You will be part of the team in the middle school and also help develop teaching in a subject team.

Mariaskolan has a special focus on language-oriented work, value-creating and interdisciplinary learning, as well as cooperative learning in the classroom.

Job Responsibilities:

- Teaching in SV and SO including planning and follow-up of teaching with students and guardians as well as assessment in these subjects.

- Mentor for grade 6, responsible for students' academic and social development.

- Collaboration with other teachers, resources, and functions at the school such as special education groups and student health services.

Qualifications:

Pedagogical university education and teaching certification as a teacher in primary school with qualifications for grades 4-6.

If you have worked with language-oriented teaching, value-creating learning, interdisciplinary work, and cooperative learning, it is an asset.

The position is 80%, starting as soon as possible during VT2026, with a possibility of extension.
