Company Description

Securitas plays an important role in society and manages one of Sweden's most important missions - to protect and help people feel safe. Now you have the chance to become part of Sweden's largest security company. Whether you want to work a lot or a little, day or night, we need to grow.

As the country's largest employer in our industry, we can offer you development opportunities and variety that few other companies can. We strive for a unified leadership with a balance between expectations and conditions.

Securitas Sweden places its personnel in wartime. This means that you, as an employee, will retain your employment and be managed by Securitas in the event of war.

You take care of people's safety – Securitas takes care of you.

About the Role

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training prior to employment.

If you are not a fully trained guard, you will be offered to attend the guard training in April 2026.

As a stationary guard, your main task is to provide security to one of our clients by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. You often work at the entrance of a larger company, checking those who pass in and out, but you may also perform patrols and camera surveillance. The tasks vary from client to client. You work independently and under your own responsibility.

The position suits you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. The tasks are highly varied, and as a guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, at night or during the day. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since we operate every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend.

About the Role

We are operational every day of the year, and shifts are usually 12 hours – day or night. Days are often eventful and social, while night shifts provide more calm and time for structure.

Julia is a colleague who works with us today, here's how Julia describes her job with us:

"The best part of my job is that I get to meet people, help out, solve problems, and feel that I make a difference – every day is unique."

You will become part of a mission where you not only protect – you create trust, build relationships, and contribute to our clients feeling safe and focusing on their core business.

We are security. We are Securitas.

Requirements

For us, it is not just your experiences or skills that matter - we also care about who you are and for this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Always meets others with respect and kindness
  • Has a keen eye for detail – and a curious gaze at what is happening around you
  • Can handle a fast pace and likes structure
  • Is independent and confident in your decisions
  • Sees solutions where others see problems

That you are honest, helpful, and vigilant is something we consider self-evident – these are our core values.

In addition to personal qualities, we also see that you possess:

  • Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
  • B driver's license

Preferred if you

  • have worked with similar tasks before
  • have a civilian or military security guard training
