The Role of Lifeguard

The water area at Furuviksparken features an exciting adventure tower and a few water slides, and here you have the privilege of working as a lifeguard. In this role, you will supervise the pool area to prevent incidents and proactively ensure a safe swimming experience. As a host for the water area, you will also contribute to keeping the pool area and all service facilities clean and tidy for our guests' enjoyment. The pace of work and tasks may vary depending on the weather.

Who Are We Looking For?

Safety is our primary value, and therefore it is important that you are responsible, calm, and secure as a person. You are helpful, organized, and maintain your composure even when the pace is high. We are looking for someone with good water skills and swimming abilities. It is an advantage if you are a trained swimming instructor and/or lifeguard. We train all lifeguards in water surveillance, CPR, and water rescue before the season starts.

Additional Information About the Position

We are looking for someone who can work most of our season when the water area is open, from early June to the end of August 2026, especially during our peak season from late June to mid-August. For this position, you need to be at least 18 years old and able to communicate in Swedish. Salary according to collective agreement. We do not offer staff accommodation.

When the summer months are over and autumn sets in, our park transforms into a cozy Halloween atmosphere, and we open for our Halloween season, thus providing good opportunities for extension in another role during that season.
