Söderhamn Municipality is now seeking an Information Security Coordinator who wants to help coordinate, develop, and strengthen the municipality's work in information security and IT security.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving and following up on the systematic information security work, supporting the operations in security issues, and ensuring that the municipality complies with legal requirements and internal guidelines. You will work both strategically and operationally, in close collaboration with management, operations, and external actors.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the municipality's work in information security, IT security, and security protection.
• Manage and develop governing documents such as policies, guidelines, and procedures.
• Support the operations in information classification, risk and vulnerability analyses, and incident management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, such as OSL, the Cybersecurity Act, NIS/NIS2, and the Security Protection Act.
• Plan and conduct training and information initiatives.
• Follow up on the information security work and report to the responsible manager or management.
• Collaborate with internal and external actors on security issues.

Your Competence

Qualifications:

• Relevant university education or equivalent experience
• Experience working with information security, IT security, or related areas

You need to have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and be able to communicate complex security issues in a pedagogical and clear manner to different target groups. We see that you have high integrity, are structured, and have the ability to work independently while also creating good collaborations within the organization.

Experience working in the public sector is an advantage, as is knowledge of relevant regulations such as NIS2, security protection legislation, GDPR, and the ISO 27000 series.

The position may be subject to security screening in accordance with security protection legislation. Swedish citizenship may be a requirement depending on security classification.
