We are a municipal-owned insurance captive company operating since 2003. We are ten dedicated employees who are now looking for a new colleague. The company was established to ensure that the member municipalities and their majority-owned companies have a well-suited insurance coverage and support in their loss prevention work under the most favorable conditions possible.
The company manages insurance values of 450 billion SEK. The member municipalities are Gävle, Sundsvall, Kiruna, Uppsala, Piteå, Trollhättan, Helsingborg, Trondheim, Örnsköldsvik, and Umeå. We have stable finances and a high level of competence among employees and the board. Your Responsibilities
As a Risk Management Advisor, you will be one of two specialists who, together with the Head of Risk Management, drive the loss prevention work. You will be part of a customer team of six people working with risk management, insurance solutions, claims management, business systems, and customer care. We offer you a position with exciting challenges and great opportunities for personal development.
In this role, you will be an important resource for our municipalities and their companies. You will support and educate in risk management, participate in risk inspections, and follow up on the implementation of measures. You will work on the implementation of safety regulations and guidelines, identify and analyze risks, and develop improvement proposals to prevent, among other things, fire and water damage. The loss prevention work is carried out according to an annual plan with continuous customer visits, which gives you a varied and developing everyday life.
You will also have the opportunity to create inspiring meetings by participating in the planning and execution of our customer conferences, delivering engaging presentations and training – a role where you combine strategic thinking with collaboration and communication.

Your Profile
You will have daily contact and close collaboration with our member municipalities and their companies. Therefore, we are looking for someone who appreciates and has a knack for creating and developing good customer relationships. You work in a structured way and enjoy working carefully and organized. Innovative thinking and development are natural for you in your daily life. We value those who take many own initiatives to proactively improve risk work.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have a considerate approach. We prefer that you are attentive and unpretentious in your interactions with others. You are sociable and appreciate supporting and educating within your area of responsibility. Your surroundings perceive you as a calm and trustworthy person who is pedagogical in your way of expressing yourself.
We are looking for a person with a relevant academic degree preferably in risk management or security, or equivalent work experience. You have good experience and knowledge in risk management and loss prevention work. To succeed in the role, you need to have a good understanding of laws, regulations, and standards in the field.
