We are now looking for a Response Leader to Billerud in Gävle. As a Response Leader, you will play a central role in maintaining and further developing an effective accident prevention and response operation. The position involves independently leading rescue operations and, when necessary, handling technical service and urgent maintenance and remediation issues. The role includes on-call duties.

This means, for example, that you will:

• Independently lead the fire service during urgent rescue operations at Gävle Mill.
• Be responsible for permitting, inspections, and gas-free declarations during hot work.
• In connection with hot work, be responsible for permitting, inspections, etc.
• Be responsible for time registration and documentation of staff's on-call hours.
• Participate in training and exercise activities.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• The training Rescue Management A or equivalent and is a trained firefighter with an approved treadmill test.
• Swimming skills and is fit in accordance with the Work Environment Authority's requirements for smoke diving.
• At least a B driver's license to handle emergency response in the role.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
• Supervision A and experience in similar work is an advantage.
