About Us

The Municipal Association of Hälsingland (KFH) is a municipal association within the municipalities of Bollnäs, Ovanåker, and Söderhamn. On behalf of the member municipalities, we are responsible for the rescue service.

The Southern Hälsingland Rescue Service is now looking for a Team Leader for the damage control and operational activities.

Your Role

As a team leader, you will have authority in the form of acting as an incident commander during LSO events. The position also means that you will be a salary-setting manager for a group of five firefighters, which involves performance and development follow-up on an individual level. You will lead and distribute the daily operations within the group both on and off the station.

Examples of what the role entails:

· As a team leader, plan and supervise the shift group in daily work at the station.

· Be proactive in operational and/or areas of responsibility.

· Participate in local and joint team leader meetings as well as APT at both the station in Bollnäs and in Söderhamn.

· As a team leader on the shift group, lead the response team during alarms and be able to operate in various roles at the incident site, such as sector chief or operations chief.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, we see that you have:

· The ability to lead the team as the employer's representative and have an understanding of and knowledge about the importance of the work environment for safe and good work over time.

· At least hold LK 1 certification or equivalent Rescue Management training.

· A valid driver's license (B).

Meritorious

Great emphasis will be placed on the applicant's personal qualities and assessed ability to lead the group with a developing leadership style and actively contribute to the workplace and organization's development. LK2 and a C driver's license are meritorious.

Employment Details

· Employment conditions: Permanent, probationary employment may apply.

· Scope: Full-time, day, night, and shift work.

· Start date: As soon as possible after agreement. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Location

The primary location is Bollnäs, but part of the position may be located in Söderhamn.
