Are you looking for a meaningful, developing, and challenging job?

Do you prefer working varied hours? Welcome to apply for a summer job or permanent position as a personal assistant, companion, and respite caregiver for children, youth, and adults!

Your work involves assisting and supporting users, both children and adults, based on assessed needs.

You will work in a structured and goal-oriented manner based on an established implementation plan, in dialogue with users and in close collaboration with colleagues and coordinators for the operations. You will be part of a smaller workgroup and contribute with engagement to meet the users' needs.

In your daily work, you will start from the user's home and provide support according to their needs. This support includes everything from assisting the user with daily routines, meals, and household chores, to motivating and accompanying them to various activities. You will help ensure the quality of the service by documenting deviations and important events in our operational system.

Of course, you will receive an introduction before your employment so that you can feel secure in your role.

The holiday period runs from June until the end of August. We welcome early starts before summer on an hourly basis. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening, night, on-call, and weekends.

Qualifications

We are looking for a stable and independent person with a high degree of personal maturity. You have a good ability to maintain a well-functioning collaboration with both users and colleagues, as well as other people you meet in your work. You are proactive and enjoy driving the work forward by collaborating with users, colleagues, coordinators, and managers.

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant, support assistant, or similar, and that you have experience working as a personal assistant and/or experience from companionship/respite care in the home with children, youth, and adults. It is advantageous if you have experience in autism and low-arousal approaches, AAC, track, tube feeding, cough assist, and epilepsy.

Social documentation is an important part of the work, which means you need to express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing.

Warm welcome with your application!
