JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone who is engaged, curious, and has a genuine interest in working with children and young people!
As a substitute with us, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you have the opportunity to be a good role model for children and young people; one day is rarely like the other.
You will become an important resource, which requires that you enjoy working with children and young people.
You can also gain experience from different workplaces and have the opportunity to make valuable connections.
The staffing unit in Marks municipality recruits and coordinates substitutes for 28 preschools, 22 primary schools, and 2 special schools. The units geographically extend from Fritsla in the north, Ubbhult in the west, Öxabäck in the east, and Horred in the south, including all villages/towns in between.
We are now looking for substitutes for all units within the child and education administration in Marks municipality.
This mainly involves shorter urgent substitutes where you can be booked at short notice to the operation that needs a substitute, but longer substitutes may also occur if the need arises.
The different shifts may vary from week to week across the various units, including working hours.
We work with the Timecare pool system where you decide how you want to work by making yourself available on the days that suit you.
Recruitment of substitutes will take place continuously during the spring of 2026.
To be considered for a substitute position, you must be available for most of the spring, as continuity is important for both our children and young people as well as the operations.

QUALIFICATIONS
You should have:
- Turned 18 years old - This is because we follow the regulations of the Swedish Work Environment Authority (AFS 2023:2, § 8)
- A strong commitment, being attentive and secure as a person.
- A good approach and the ability to collaborate with children, guardians, and colleagues in a responsive manner.
- The ability to take responsibility, be structured, and perform work independently.
Easy communication skills and good knowledge of the Swedish language both orally and in writing (SFI level D)
It is advantageous if:
- You have completed or are currently pursuing an education within the 3-year upper secondary school child and leisure program, childcare education, or teacher education.
- You have previous experience working in preschool/school.
- You have additional knowledge in a specific school subject.
- You have a B driver's license.
