Rehabilitation Assistant Needed for Home Care Rehabilitation Unit Summer 2026
We are now looking for you, who has a great interest and commitment to working with people. The home care rehabilitation unit will need a rehabilitation assistant during the summer. You will work with a wonderful team in home care, who are used to supporting and helping each other.
Job Responsibilities
We are responsible for health and medical care interventions for individuals aged 18 and over who need assistance in regular and special housing in the municipality of Piteå. As a rehabilitation assistant, you will work both independently and in a team alongside occupational therapists and physiotherapists, handling various tasks and substituting for licensed personnel during training sessions and the setup of aids where two licensed professionals are not required. Independent visits may include preparatory home visits to assess the living environment, replacing simpler aids for patients, as well as conducting your own training sessions as prescribed by licensed personnel.
Introduction and guidance will be provided by the regular rehabilitation assistant at the start.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone studying to become an occupational therapist or physiotherapist, preferably with experience in healthcare and social services. Experience from similar operations is an advantage. Personal competence is highly valued as the work involves contacts with patients, relatives, and staff. As a person, you are positive, flexible, and have a good ability to work both independently and in a team. You have a good demeanor, strong communication skills, and well-developed planning and collaboration abilities.
More About the Position
This is a summer temporary position during the summer vacation period, with start and end dates to be agreed upon, but no later than 2026-08-31. Full-time, working hours are scheduled during weekdays.
A valid driver's license (B) is required, and access to a service vehicle is necessary.
