ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Inre Kraft are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant for our client in Kiruna, currently we are seeking 2 assistants for the following positions: 1 full-time + 1 part-time position.

The working hours are as follows:

• 06:30 AM - 03:30 PM

• 03:30 PM - 06:30 AM

• 06:30 AM - 06:30 AM

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see that you can start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a guy in his 30s who lives in his own apartment in central Kiruna. During weekdays, he works at Coop and Savo. He has a small group of assistants around him, 4 personal assistants + his parents. You will work alone with the client, and only when he is traveling will there be two assistants working with him at the same time.

This is a cheerful and positive guy who enjoys carrying firewood, building with Lego, baking, walking in the forest and the city, boating and snowmobiling, listening to music, going to the movies/concerts, dining out, being at the cabin, traveling in the camper van, bowling, swimming, going to the gym, staying in hotels, and much more. He has his own car that you, as an assistant, will drive, so it is desirable if you have a driver's license, but it is not a requirement as the client has approved transportation services.

Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life as he has autism and is blind.

Although he already knows a lot, he has a curiosity and desire to continue developing and learning new things. Therefore, it is very important that you can work "with your hands behind your back" and refrain from taking over tasks he can do or wants to learn to do!

The job responsibilities include:

• Support and guide during daily routines, such as household chores and activities

• Assist and guide with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, as well as during meals

Since he cannot see, his surroundings use verbal communication and symbols to guide him correctly. Therefore, it is required that you, as an assistant, have very good knowledge of the Swedish language.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

A large part of your work involves helping and guiding the client in everyday situations and in social interactions with others, as well as helping the client understand his environment. You should be good at reading and analyzing the needs and situations of other individuals. We see it as an advantage if you have previous experience with autism.

REQUIREMENTS

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language

• Driver's license, so you can drive the client's car

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working with autism

Employment rate: 1 full-time + 1 part-time position.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

It is important that the extracts are ordered in good time, as the police's processing time may vary. Due to a change in the law from March 1, 2026, the background check will be expanded to include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register.
