Job Responsibilities

As a Personal Assistant, you will work in the individual's home in accordance with the LSS Act. The positions are with a female user who lives outside the central town.

You will support and assist the user based on the implementation plan in accordance with the LSS value base and the user's needs. Documentation is an important part of the job. You will be part of a team with 5 other assistants, but the work requires a high degree of independence and responsibility as you will work alone. You will also have close cooperation with other relevant services in the municipality, such as the Health and Medical Care Team (HSV). Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night shifts. The positions are distributed over 3 day/evening shifts and 3 awake night shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with relevant education for the positions, such as personal assistance training or a care and nursing program.

• You are solution-focused with a supportive and motivating approach and have a low-arousal response.
• You have a clear user focus and are attentive, as well as having a good ability to collaborate with users, relatives, and other people/professions in the user's network.
• It is important that you have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, e.g., to establish, evaluate, and follow up on the implementation plan.
• You can perform various care measures on behalf of health and medical care personnel.

Experience working as a personal assistant is an advantage, preferably with experience in ALS.

Pets are present in the user's home, so we are also looking for someone who does not have pet allergies.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

We Offer

We offer you a probationary employment of 6 months with the possibility of permanent employment starting as soon as possible. Day/evening positions are between 83–88% and night positions are approximately 67%.
